Which alphabet will messages to Eastern Europe use?
Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Romanian use Latin letters with diacritics such as ł, ą, č, ř, ő and ș that are outside GSM-7. Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian and Bulgarian use the Cyrillic alphabet. Both cases go out in Unicode at 70 characters per segment, so short messages are the best way to keep a campaign at one segment.
